S.O.B

SOB is an interactive installation that explores the fraught terrain of love, sex, and desire for disabled women navigating digital spaces. Centering real messages received on online dating platforms, the work confronts the often-violent language and fetishization that shape these interactions.

By inviting viewers to engage with the interface as if they themselves were swiping through a dating app, SOB implicates the audience in the emotional labor of parsing visibility, vulnerability, and harm. The piece holds space for disabled women’s stories while exposing the systemic biases and intimate violences embedded in contemporary digital intimacy.
